DESCRIPTION:For the past 68 years\, Stony Plain & District have been hosting the 4-H Beef and Sheep Achievement Day and Sale. 4-H is a youth program open to all youth ages 9-20 years that encourages members to enhance their personal and social skills by focusing on public speaking\, leadership and decision making. A strong community involvement is also part of the 4-H program.\n\n\n\nThis year our sale is May 22\, 2019 at the Heritage Pavilion in Stony Plain. We would like to invite businesses in the Acheson Industrial Park to come out and show their support for our youth by attending our Achievement Day and Sale. Members have spent countless hours preparing their beef and sheep projects: feeding\, grooming\, recording growth and gains\, and leading their animals to present them at this annual event. With the purchase of a steer or lamb\, you will gain advertising exposure to area residents and businesses. If your business does not need the meat these animals will provide\, we will have a truck on hand that can deliver your animal to the local auction mart for resale the next day.
