On behalf of the Ammonia Safety & Training Institute (ASTI), ‘a not-for-profit organization dedicated to making ammonia the safest managed hazardous material in the world’, Multigas Detection invites you to attend: Ammonia Safety Training Days

DAY 2 is intended for anyone and everyone – those who live near, work with, or respond to ammonia or other hazardous chemicals
and in particular EMERGENCY RESPONDERS.
This day will be spent learning the following:
• Life safety and set control zones
• Conditions – Actions – Needs (C.A.N.) size-up report
• Value and use of chemical protective clothing and equipment
• Challenges of rapid entry rescue
• Emergency shutdown procedures
• Evaluate hazards, risks, and threats
• Working with valves and pressure vessels
• Tarp and cover containment
• Ventilation fan – decontamination and vapour dispersion
