Christmas Hampers Kick-Off: Community Fundraising for the Familes of Parkland County

For over 20 years, the Acheson Business Association and the businesses in Acheson have raised over $250,000, hundreds of thousands of pounds of food, and thousands of toys. This program is in partnership with the Stony Plain Kinsmen and Spruce Grove Kinettes.
 
Christmas Hampers Kick-Off November 19^th:
Join us for a *modified and Covid19 safe* Christmas Hamper Kick-off at the Acheson Business Association office in Acheson on Friday, November 19^th from 12:30 to 3pm.
 
What to expect:

• Meet our community partners – The Stony Plain Kinsmen and Spruce Grove Kinettes and hear how they fill and deliver the Christmas Hampers.
• Meet the ABA team and Board of Directors. Learn why the Christmas Hamper fundraising is so important to the families of Parkland County
• Photobooth with Santa & Mrs. Claus. Get your team photo for the holidays.
• Pick up your donation boxes and event posters.

3. Gift cards or new unwrapped gifts for children 17 and under.

 
We will NOT be collecting food items this year. Once again, the Parkland County Food bank will be administering the distribution of the food portion. The Kinettes and the Kinsmen will be supplementing and ‘upsizing’ the Christmas Hampers with gift cards for food. And to protect Santa and Mrs. Clause, we will NOT be doing the drive through drop off for donations.
 
 
How to donate:
The Acheson Business Association will be hosting a drive through drop off on December 8^th, 2021, from 11am to 3pm. Drop off your collections at the ABA office at 27717 Acheson Road.
