The Acheson Business Association is proud to present the final installment of our 25th Anniversary Business Breakfast Series featuring an outstanding leadership panel led by two of Alberta's most accomplished and inspiring sports leaders Dr. Randy Gregg and Laurie Eisler.
Dr. Randy Gregg's remarkable career is a testament to what can be achieved through determination, discipline, and leadership.
A five-time Stanley Cup Champion with the Edmonton Oilers, Dr. Gregg was also a standout student-athlete at the University of Alberta. During his time with the Golden Bears, he earned numerous championships and was recognized as the University of Alberta's Most Outstanding Athlete. His accomplishments have earned him induction into multiple Sports Halls of Fame.
Following his elite hockey career, Dr. Gregg pursued medicine and established a successful sports medicine clinic in Edmonton. Today, he serves as the Managing Director of the Edmonton River Hawks Baseball Club, where he continues to lead, mentor, and build winning teams.
Few individuals have had a greater impact on university athletics in Canada than Laurie Eisler.
As General Manager of the University of Alberta Pandas Volleyball Program, Laurie has transformed the Pandas into one of the most dominant and respected volleyball programs in the country. She is the winningest coach in University of Alberta history, with a record of sustained excellence spanning decades.
Her leadership and accomplishments have earned her recognition as Canadian Coach of the Year eight times, along with induction into the Sports Hall of Fame. Known for building high-performance teams and developing exceptional athletes, Laurie continues to inspire generations of leaders both on and off the court.
This breakfast will explore the lessons both panelists have learned from decades of leadership in elite sport, medicine, business, and team development. Attendees will gain valuable insights into:
· Building high-performing teams

· Developing a culture of excellence
· Inspiring others to reach their full potential
